I am a certified Dog Trainer and Behaviorist with over 20 years of experience helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships through clear communication, trust, and effective training. My background includes military K9 handling, AKC programs, 4-H training, behavioral rehabilitation, hunting dog development, family protection training, and service dog task training.

I work with dogs of all ages, breeds, skill levels, and behavioral needs. Every dog is unique, which is why I customize each training program based on the individual dog, household dynamics, lifestyle, and training goals.

I believe successful training starts with the owner. I place great value on coaching the human end of the leash, helping owners understand their dog's behavior and communicate more effectively. Dogs are taught skills through proven, reward-based methods backed by science, creating reliable and lasting results.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" approach here. No cookie-cutter programs. Every training plan is tailored specifically to you and your dog.

Behavioral Training

I can help address a wide range of behavioral challenges, including:

Hunting Dog Training

I work with hunting breeds and sporting dogs, including:

Training can include retrieving skills, field readiness, obedience in hunting environments, scent work, and gradual conditioning to gunfire and hunting-related sounds.

Protection and Specialized Training

Drawing on my experience as K9 handler in both 4H & AKC settings, I offer advanced training for dogs with specialized roles.

Service and Assistance Dog Training

I also offer service and assistance dog task training for qualifying dogs and handlers. Training programs are customized to the specific needs of the individual and may include medical alert, mobility assistance, task performance, public access manners, and advanced obedience.

Each dog is evaluated to determine aptitude, temperament, and suitability for service work.
